Description
The only piece in the series where opaline glass replaces brass, creating a diffused luminosity that transforms the sculpture into an object of meditation. The Itaúba bark, with its cracks and reliefs, filters light passing through the glass, casting shadows that shift throughout the day.
This is a piece that demands pause — it does not reveal itself immediately but invites the gaze to return. The braided cotton thread integrates the materials as a gesture of healing, uniting mineral, vegetal, and craft.
Provenance
Reclaimed Itaúba bark piece combined with handcrafted opaline glass. Wood from sustainable management in Mato Grosso.
